Anthony John Valente, 39, is accused of possessing images of the intimate parts of a juvenile taken without the victim’s knowledge or consent. According to police, the photos were taken from a distance and zoomed in on the victim's body and intimate areas.

The charge, one misdemeanor count of invasion of privacy, was filed before Magisterial District Judge Bearinger on Nov. 18, police said.

Valente is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Ephrata Police Department.

Valente has two other active cases, one for an alleged assault and strangulation on July 4, 2024, and witness intimidation on July 10, court records show.
